2 ½ – story, side-gable house with a shed-roof dormer on the front elevation with four small fixed pane windows. Also a front projecting gable over the front porch. The porch has a wooden trellis balustrade and plain wooden columns for supports. The stone foundation is raised with a garage door under the front porch. The front entrance is off set and hooded by a small side gabled roof. The fenestration has fixed shutters on the second story and is flat-topped. There is an internal gable chimney on the west elevation. Concrete steps with a metal railing lead to the front entrance from the side walk. A stone retaining wall is along the western side of the property following the driveway and curving at the sidewalk.

Building appears little altered from the original, retaining 6/1 windows which are set on rock-faced stone sills. Entrances incorporate semicircular hoods supported by curvilinear brackets. The slopes of the roof are penetrated by several brick chimneys.

801 Grant Street c. 1924 non-contributing building

2-story American Foursquare-derived residence of wood construction, with a hipped roof and hipped dormers. The 2nd story on the façade incorporates a sunroom penetrated by multiple operable windows. The main entrance is offset on the façade en-framed within a classically derived frontispiece. The house has replacement siding and windows and a new front entrance. It does not retain sufficient historic integrity.

3-story Collegiate Gothic Revival-style school building designed by architect H. Rus Warne. Finished in red brick, with the exterior penetrated by many windows with multi-light sash. The symmetrical façade incorporates a centered entry bay flanked by stylized crenellated towers. The main entrance is through a stone frontispiece. The building is otherwise modest in its detailing incorporating a stone watertable and similar beltcourse above the 3rd story windows.

2 ½-story, front-gable house with Craftsman elements. Gable dormers on the side elevations and a hipped-roof porch with an offset pediment along the façade. Distinctive gabled finishes articulate the façade, with stylized brackets. The exterior surfaces of the house are finished in insul-brick.

813-813 ½ Grant Street c.1925 non-contributing building

2-story house with intersecting gables, likely converted from a store/residence. L-shaped façade with a hipped-roof porch in the angle of the ell. Portions of the first story have been finished in nonhistoric red brick. Much of the rest of the surfaces are finished in asbestos shingles. Fenestration is flat-topped with windows set singly and in pairs. Decorative brackets under the eaves. Due to the changes, the building does not retain sufficient historic integrity to be considered eligible.

901 Grant Street c. 1910 contributing building

1½-story double house finished in brick, with a multiple roof system and a porch extending across the façade accessing both interior units. Distinctive in its design, this building incorporates segmentalarched windows as well as flat-topped windows, some of which have been in-filled and other replaced with modern sash units. The building originally served as the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Though there have been some alterations, the overall form of the building retains sufficient integrity to be considered contributing.
